Thinking it's impossible to become a millionaire at 16? Well think again because Pakistani gamer Sumail Hassan just proved it possible. Sumail, a 16 year old Pakistani who moved to Illinois, USA, to pursue his ambition of becoming a professional gamer became the youngest millionaire after he won $1.2 million at the the main event of the Dota 2 International 2015 tournament in Seattle.

Sumail with his family of eight moved from their spacious house in Karachi to an apartment in Illinois in the spring of 2014. The move was a struggle for most of them as money was tight and work was unsteady. But Sumail was pleased with the idea of less lag time when he played Dota 2.

His payday after a month as a professional gamer was $200,000. Being the passionate gamer Sumail had also sold his bicycle while he was in Pakistan so that he could play more dota.

Playing since he was 7 years old, Sumail along with his team called Evil Geniuses bested China’s CDEC for the crown by the end of Valve’s fifth world championship for Dota 2, Five members of the winning team including Sumail bagged first place winning $6.6 million and also acquired a place in the Guinness book of world records.
